Malanga Coco is a tropical root vegetable that originates from Latin America and the Caribbean. It is one of the three main “Tropical Vegetables” grown in South Florida. The skin of the Malanga Coco is rough and brown, but the flesh is creamy and pink. When raw it is flavorless, however, once cooked it grasps a nutty taste.
Malanga Coco is stored at roughly 45-50°F in a fairly dry environment.
